Designed for demanding industrial environments, the MG8230 operates reliably across an ultra-wide temperature range from -50 °C to 450 °C, making it suitable for high-temperature vessels, boilers, and pressurized systems.
All wetted parts are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, with optional PTFE lining to enhance resistance against aggressive chemical media. This structure ensures long-term stability when exposed to strong acids, alkalis, and other corrosive fluids.
The quartz glass tube delivers a high-contrast optical display, where the vapor phase and liquid phase are clearly differentiated by distinct color signals. The multi-color visual interface enables accurate level recognition even at long viewing distances and under poor lighting conditions.
A built-in self-acting sealing system is activated automatically in the event of accidental glass tube failure. The internal steel ball instantly isolates the process medium, minimizing leakage risks and enhancing operational safety.

Key advantages:
Robust mechanical structure
Large-diameter quartz tube options
Reliable operation in industrial environments
The MG8230 uses high-purity quartz glass, enabling stable operation at temperatures up to 450 °C. Compared with ordinary glass level gauges, quartz glass offers superior thermal resistance and mechanical strength, ensuring reliable visual level indication in boilers and high-temperature vessels.
The MG8230 provides a high-contrast visual indication: the liquid phase appears green, while the gas phase appears red. For interface measurement, a three-color display is formed, allowing operators to quickly identify liquid levels and phase boundaries, even from long distances or under low-light conditions.
Yes. The MG8230 features stainless steel wetted parts with optional PTFE lining, which significantly enhances resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and chemical solvents. This makes it suitable for chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical processes involving aggressive media.
The MG8230 is equipped with an automatic steel-ball sealing mechanism. If the quartz glass tube is accidentally damaged, the steel ball instantly seals the process connection, preventing liquid or gas from escaping and improving operational safety in high-pressure systems.
The MG8230 is typically side-mounted on boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and process equipment. It is widely used in industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, water treatment, food & beverage, and metallurgy, where direct visual liquid level monitoring is required.
